is that the weight of the car. my sticker on my door says Gawr: 4200. is that the weight of my car? its a 98 z28. seems like a little to much? i must got a fat *** camaro

 

GAWR stands for Gross Axle Weight Rating

Its the rating of the max weight the front and rear axle together can carry

 

oh i see. ima noob so i was not sure what do they weigh? aren't they 3700 something like that?

 

They obviously vary by years and options, mine weighs 3450 with half tank of gas and me not in it. A couple friends of mine also have f-bodies a 2000 Z28 m6 fully optioned weighed in at a little under 3500, and a 2000 Ws6 weighed in at 3700, all on the same scale
