My exhuast is rattling on my exhaust crossmember. I want to put something inbwteen the two to act as a buffer, so it of course has to be cool with heat...fogive the PUN.
I was thinking maybe zip-tieing some header wrap on the exhaust crossmember. Any other suggestions on heat-resistent material I can use as a buffer?

a few washers on the bolts between the frame and the cross member will give you 1/2" or more and this usually works pretty well.

I had a simular problem. I used an exhaust hanger I had lying around kinda made out of thick rubber, but not quite. I just stuck it in between the 2.
