Just curious, not replacing tha tfactory POS, but for autocross it needs to be secure to past tech even though its likely not gonna go anywhere.
Just curious what ideas you have come up with, I rigged something up on my 94, wasn't the prettiest but it worked. Looking for somethig that is a little more "professional" looking.
getting tired of wedging a roll of electrical tape between the batt and frame, then strapping it in place with camara bag straps every time I autocross.

Well the factory piece on mine broke...the part that was closer to the nose that was molded to the tray. So what I did was just take some screws and screwed it back on. Works like a charm You could always buy a new one from the factory and just add screws so it won't break again.

Bought a universal hold down kit from the local parts store. Modified the base to accept the "J" bolts and bolted the battery in place with the "H" shaped cross bar.
