Ok, picked up my second Z28 recently. Totally pumped. Didn't really look into what it might/might not be before I bought. Did a basic Carfax, saw it as more than a fair deal so I jumped on it.

Here is my dilemma....

The car is a Hardtop, manual window, 6 speed, leather interior car with 3.42's and the G80 Rear End.

I know it is not a B4C nor an 1LE since the door tag does not contain either of the codes.

Interestingly enough, as I go through the rest of the codes, I find that the car has the RPO for a 140amp "Generator" (KG9)....didn't think that 140 was stock, but maybe it is. May be I wrote it down wrong too...lol.....

So most of the RPO's are pretty basic and seem standard for the car being a "marked" Z28. K34 (CC)....LT1..(LT1)...MN6 (BW 6SPD)...FE2..(Ride, Handling)..etc.. Then there are codes that befuddle the crap out of me and after Googling them I come up with nada.

There are some other things that stump me. The code D82 (paint, special)...The car is red....what the heck is so special about that???

And how about NF2-Fed Tier 1 Emissions??, V73-USA/Canada Statement, R8T -Controlled sales Item #69 production ??.

And the car has an 1LE intake bellows. Probably coincidence since anyone can replace the OEM one with it. But this one is trashed beyond it's time....wierd.

I can give the VIN if somebody has that ability to find more out. I'm sure it was probably ordered this way but it's just really wierd. Why have leather seats and not have power windows??? Strange people maybe.

140 amp alt is standard. Everything else seems run of the mill to me.

D82 is monochromatic paint. That means the whole car was one color instead of black roof and mirrors.
