When I get my LS1, the first thing I want to do is modify the exhaust system. I want to replace everything from the headers back. What brands should I use for exhaust parts and should I replace the cat with a offroad test pipe?

I got Hooker Headers, hooker Y, and Flowmaster catback(dont even bother with the flowmaster) And a vutout thats never closed.

 

Hooker Catback and hooker or pacesetter LT headers....pretty reasonably priced and good performance gain

FLP LT headers w/ high flow cats or ORP and GMMG.

 

If ground clearence is an issue, or if you need to pass emmisions, you may want to consider some midlegnth headers.

I think Mac and Bassani make them.
