What can i use to find intake leak(except ether)

Im doing some trouble shooting and wanted to see if i got an intake leak.Some folks told me to try with ether(liquid start) but this damn can doenst shoot with enough strenght,there is too much atomisation.

What else can i use???

Carb cleaner. I like the way you can get precise placement with the tube tip. Just listen for any change in the idle.

water in a spray bottle will work as well

simple......while trying to find a vac. leak I found an arching plug wire, went up in a big poof. Lucky I had a fire ex. close by so it didn't do much damage.


I say the soapy water is your best bet, we have a smoke machine that pumps smoke through the intake...it pretty slick
