What can I use to bond my broken/crack fender/bumper cover?
What can I use to bond my broken/crack fender/bumper cover?
Well my situation is that I have front right damage that has been there for a few years. Front bumper cover is cracked at the bottom and the fender is broken off right at the tip where it meets the bumper cover. The headlight mount plastic piece that goes across the front of the car and that the bumper cover plastic fasteners mount to is also cracked.
I want to take everything off and line it back up as best I can until I can afford a full front end fix and repaint the whole car.
Is there anything I can use to fix the cracks and bond the fender piece back together atleast for the time being that will hold up under the weight? I was thinking some type of expoxy but maybe something is better for whatever these are made of. Cosmetics do not really matter, the bumper cover and fender tip will be covered with a bra after I fix everything. Thanks for any tips.

Re: What can I use to bond my broken/crack fender/bumper cover?
grab a fiberglass patch kit from the local checker. Had to do the same to my pass. side fender. There was a 2X4 in the road that bounced up and cracked my fender practically in half. She seems to be holding up so far.

I don't know exactly what the fenders are made out of but it looks like plastic. There are plastic welders on ebay for $50 i'm thinking about getting one for custom interior projects.
