Hi guys, i was looking under my car tonight and i noticed a flat metal area that had like 3 egg shape holes in it, right behind the front tires on both sides. I also noticed the same kind of area except one egg shaped hole in front of the rear tires. What are these areas? Can you jack on these?

 

You can jack on any area where the metal looks thick. Use good judgement. On the front, use the plastic waffle areas to jack. That is why they are there. Just don't jack on the edge of the front fender in front of the waffle (where it says "don't jack here").

 

I may be wrong ,but I believe the holes you are refering to are for transport tie downs.
