WEIRDEST Sound Ever! Pleasee anyone..any ideas

K so its 3AM and I gotta take this chick home freakin 45 mins away from me cause shes got work madd early.

I get on the parkway. I get on it like "more than usual" but not all out..

And ALL OF A SUDDEN...There is a ticking coming from like inside the center console like under the shifter.

IT sounds EXACTLY like an exhaust leak......thats coming from the transmission??!??!

From 0-30 You hear nothing...anything over that you hear this identical sound to an exhaust leak tick.

Any ideas at all???

Yah, you need to determine if it's rpm or speed related. Also push the clutch in and see if it goes away or changes sound.

Nope. Not RPM related and clutch or no clutch still there.

I might be way off but I had a similar noise and it turned out to be a spark plug hanging by some threads.

The noise stays at the same volume no matter what speed over 30mph.

I think its an exhaust leak. But I am unsure why only at 30+ I hear it.
