My 84 5 speed firebird has been making a strange popping noise and lurching slighty when driving. Sitting it runs just fine and sounds as healthy as can be, fires right up with no problems at all. My friend said it could be either a bad coil, distributor, fuel pump, or my transmission could be ****ed. I replaced the module in the distributor and it ran fine for about 2 hours then went to hell again. Anyone have any idea what it could be? Really need help with this one
