so my taillights work, but when i step on the brakes the right side works and the left side turns off, taillight goes out and brake light dont come on... anyone know what could cause this? i am always stumped on electrical

 

Sure it's not some type of bulb problem? You could swap the bulbs between the lights and see if the problem follows the swap.

 

changed the bulbs, sounded weird to me too but who knows
