Just wondered what you guys have for water temps in your LT-1's?

On short runs my temp gets up to 215 degrees, this is on my 97 z-28 SS, just wanted to know if 215 seems high?

In traffic at low speeds the temp. seem normal. These cars run hot and the red line is quite as ways above this. This is about where your fans come on. At speed it should drop back to your thermostat temp. 180* or so, 160* for me. You can get a switch for the fans or get your PCM tuned to turn them on earlier. Or turn your air on, it activates the fans.

I am new to Carmaros, my V-8 powered S-10 runs about 170.

Stock programming - first fan (or low speed in the later models) comes on at 226degF. The second fan (or high speed) comes on at 235degF.
