I just had a new battery installed and am still only seeing 13 volts when the car is running. The voltage drops down to 12.3, according to the scanmaster for no reason at all. Is this normal or do I need to consider a new alternator?

 

That would be an alternator voltage reading. You should have it tested, first, before replacing it.
