Vin/Car Breakdown

Just wondering where you guys go to find out every detail about your car...Like Z28 #34 out of 60 with xyz paint color and such you know?\

There is very little info coded into the VIN. It will basically tell you if its a V6 or a V8, coupe or convertible. There are online guides that will help you decode it. What you need to find is the "build code tag".... usually on the driver's door or in the blove box. That tag contains all the "RPO" (regular production option) codes for the options and some parts installed in the car at the factory. There is no indication of the serial production of Z28's though. The last 5 digits of the VIN are the sequence of production for all Camaros produced in that model year.
