Just bought a 1997 WS-6 vert:
Got factory optioned remote locks:the headlight pops up sometimes when I lock the doors with the remote. Should this always happed or at all?

At the bottom of the rear window. The convertible top has loosend from the glass. Is this making the inside of my trunk damp? A top shop is going to heat seal the top to the glass. Thanks in advance!

 

The sealant has failed that holds the canvas to the glass, however the weather tight seal should still be good. Mine has done the same thing but I am planning on replacing the top in the next year or so. My top's stitches are breaking all over.

If I can find some windshield urethane I am going to try to fix that canvas problem.

the mechanism only uses the teeth on half the gear. it is possible to flip it around use the teeth on good side.
