Value of '92 Firebird?

hi, i have the chance to buy a 1992 firebird. it is all original and only has 5000 miles on it. an older lady owned it and never drove it. it has a V-8 motor, t-tops, auto tranny, all original equipment. the car sat in a carport all of its life and never got direct sunlight. the motor does run fine and it just needs new fluids, hoses and belts to be perfect again. what do you guys think it is really worth?
Thanks,
Josh

its worth whatever you want to pay for it

however, try to get it as cheap as possible, to be honest, If i had the money, anything under $5K would be a steal

Re: Value of '92 Firebird?

I wouldn't go overboard on it.

These can be the not-so-obvious worst cars to buy, since cars are made to run and anything that does not get oiled regularly is at risk of being ready to rot out.

For that matter, oil that sits absorbs moisture and you get carbonic acid from that, which...well, we all know that acid isn't friendly...

Buy it if you must, but don't be surprised at things going haywire.

Take it and run. With 5000 original miles, that's an awesome steal.
