........ unknown noise

so my car really pisses me off sometimes, if its not one problem its the freaking next right? well now whenever i turn my car makes this ghetto noise that seems to be coming from underneath and towards the rear of the car, its not anything power steering related so thats eliminated. it will also do this in reverse as well even when going straight backwards. THIS NOISE IS GAY AND MAKES MY CAR SOUND OLD AND GHETTO! an absolute must resolve issue a.s.a.p. now whats wierd is from what ive experienced it will not make this noise if i give it throttle while turning and also what really puzzles me is that will only do this when the engine is warmed up, like when i first get in in the morning or after work it wont, i could drive in circles and it wont make a single noise, until ive been driving for a lil while and its warmed up. could it be the driveshaft? differential? the noise comes from underneath and towards the rear of the car......please guys i need help, i cannot drive around like this, its super embarrasing when i pull into work or the gym etc.. and it sounds ghetto when i turn in to park etc...please give some input

update: noise is a deeper sounding mechanical moaning/clunking type noise, found out it could be the differential as i changed that oil a few months ago with the Q Power rear end differential fluid, did not put in GM limited slip addictive as i thought i did not need it. if this could be the problem would it just now of started making this gay a$$ noise? i mean it can be loud at times and it was switched out a few months ago with no problem till recently.

well the dealerships' parts department is closed today, but it needs to be taken care of. do you guys think that the limited slip differential addictive oreilly sells will be ok for a few days or do i have to have the GM addictive?

If it makes the noise when you back up straight, its not likely that its a problem with the limited slip. That only "works" when the two real wheels are turning at a different rate of speed. But putting in the additive may help, even if its not the GM LSD additive. Won't hurt anything, and may help.

Its really hard to help, when you use terms to describe the noise that are non-technical.... gay a$$, ghetto, etc. doesn't really tell anyone what it really sounds like. Might explain why you aren't getting responses, and why one person came back and deleted his response.

alright. well it is completely gone now, dranined and refilled with 80w90 and a bottle of limited slip addictive. i think it would make the noise going straight in reverse but then again almost every time i reverse i am turning as well
