Turn Signal Problem

Well I've posted my questions about my weird turn signal issue.

Front turn signals (both) will flash if you bring the stalk right where it is engages the turn signals (either direction). However, if you push them past that or engage the stalk fully then the front lights (both) stay solid. The taillights flash as they should. This only occurs with the parking lights or headlights on.

Fuses, flashers, grounds, etc all look good and some replaced since they are cheap.

Buddy of mine and I thought that the turn signal switch in the column was bad so I replaced it this weekend. Unfortunately I have the same problem after doing all that work.

Could the stalk be bad? Could it be the headlight switch or dimmer? Any ideas?

I'm thinking it could ba a bad stalk, or a ground between the switch and the relay?

Just asking but how would a bad stalk cause my issue? There is no wiring between the stalk itself and the turn signal switch in the column. The stalk mechanically controls the turn signal switch. I could be wrong but thats how it looked when I had it all apart.

Any other ideas?
