tuning
Re: tuning
There are OBD-I LT1's (93-95) and OBD-II LT1's (96-97). The architecture is similar, but the interface is different enough that you require different software to access OBD-I and OBD-II tuning. However much of the programming is identical. The LS1's are all OBD-II and the architecture is radically different than the LT1 OBD-II PCM, and requires yet another set of tuning tools.
Only the 1993 LT1 came with a replaceable chip, rather than flash programming. All other years can be tuned with software.
