..... I have been trying to decide which catback to get for awhile now. I wanted something loud with a nice tone. I finally went with the loudmouth 1, but was a little worried about how difficult a project this might be. I'm happy to report the installation was simple and I absolutely love the tone of this exhaust! I'm sure there are others out there with the same questions I had, so I wanted to post my experience. I highly recommend going to ls1sounds.com to listen to the different configurations prior to choosing your catback system. Don't be intimidated with the installation, the hardest part of the installation is loosening those frozen bolts on the old exhaust!

 

I put on the Edelbrock cat back and absolutely love it. Everyone has flowmaster so I wanted something different. It is louser than stock but not obnoxious. Get on the gas and it just h howls like a ****. Very hot rod-ish sound.

 

I previously had the Edelbrock, it sounded pretty good, the only problem was the thing rusted away really quickly. It is kind of aggravating considering the car hasn't seen snow and very seldomly has it been driven in the rain. I currently have the stainless steel Magnaflow catback and it was a little to tame for me so I added a cutout as well and I am very happy with the sound.

 

I've got the magnaflow. With LTs and ORY it absolutely screams when you step on it, otherwise it's decently loud with a good tone, VERY bassy and deep.
