transmission performance button

i tried to do the "transmission button" thing off of shoeboxes website and it doesnt seem to be working and its throwing an SES which im pretty sure its not suposed to be doing. i ran a wire from the ING plug on the fuse box to the H terminal on C220 and i ran a wire from the A terminal on C230 to a swich in my ashtray and grounded it on a screw on the emergency brake. anyone know what i did wrong? any help would be appreciated.

The wire from IGN plug on the fuse box to the H terminal on C220 is for a LED indicator lite which glows when it's activated only..

The wire from the A terminal on C230 to a swich in the ashtray.. the switch HAS to be a 'momentary' switch, not a regular switch.. to test just take the wire from a on C230 and momentarily touch it to ground.. that should activate the performance mode[ until you ground it again, or turn the key off]
Also make sure that you accessed the correct wires.. and use a 'tap' on each wire, don't cut, or disconnect them..

What is this performance button supposed to do? I just saw the article and looked at the schematic.

Uses a different set of tables in the pcm, so you can have nice soft shifts at low rpms for street cruising and hard shifts at high rpms for performance driving.
