How many transmission mounts does my 96 Z28 have? 3? I have one bad, cause when you accelerate hard, it hits real hard, and you can hear it sometimes over bumps, rattling. I'm thinking it is the rear mount. What do you guys think?

one right under the trans near the out put shaft.

I have had the best luck with a LS1 stock mount

 

i have the energy suspension mount. vibrated like crazy when i first installed it. it is not too bad now maybe 500 miles later.

 

I also put on a Energy Suspension. Vibration isn't as bad as I was told. Feels A LOT better now.
