Torn Front End Fascia

'97 Z28
Two of the bolts that connect the ground deflector to the front end fascia have torn off on one side (near center passenger side just below the fog light), dropping it enough that hitting a big enough puddle (or driving it on slushy/snowy roads like today) is causing water to get into the engine and stalling it.
Is there any good way to remount it (IE bigger washers/clips) or am I better off just getting a new fascia (and how much is that going to run me)?

If you mean the air dam they are pretty cheap. I bought a new one just because it was scrapped up. I think it was around $20-$40.

Yeah but it's the front end (the colored portion) that's torn...

If you don't mind drilling your bumper, you can just drill new holes and move the metal clips with the bolt threads in them.

Take some pictures to show us what's torn and where.

If that is stalling your engine I think you have more problems then just that thing being torn.

I agree. My offhand guess is either bad/damaged spark plug wires which haven't been changed in about 70,000 miles (I did the change around 100,000 miles and I've got 173k on it now) or the water's going onto the opti... (I'm hoping it's the former)

Any other guesses? I'd have to be on the front passenger side near the bottom...

I'll see if I can get photos up tomorrow...
