Top of door weather stripping(built in guides..pics) removal question.....

Gents,

I've got my window out by tapping out the middle of the 3 rivets, drilling them progressively bigger, and then breaking off the 3 tabs on the back of the rivet to get them out.

The window is out safely and I also have my broken track out(all without removing the regulator or motor).

The problem now is the weather stripping on the outside top of the door.

I want to replace this, but how does it come apart from the top of the door? I don't want to tear anything up.

The mirror needs to me removed for it to come off. I had a shop do it, but that's what they had to do on my 94 to take it off

Yes, the mirror mount needs to be removed. then the strip pulls off. It is held on with clips. Pull up and in a little to remove it.
