Looking in the new GMHTP magazine there is a guy putting a LT1 with a delteq ignition in his third gen. He had a third gen alternator mounted on it and said it was easy to wire in, has the same current numbers as the LT1 or it was close I can't remember and it saved 4.5 pounds from the stock LT1 alternator and is only 75% the size of a LT1 alternator.
