Is there a fuse for the back up light?

Backup lights are not working. Bulbs are good. Sockets not corroded. Maybe a grounding problem? Is there a fuse for the backup lights? Any other ideas or suggestions to look for? Car is a 1997 WS6 M6.

There should be a Turn B-U fuse, 15 amp, in the interior fuse block. Check to see if it popped. After the fuse, the wires go outside the car, to the reverse lights sensor on your T56. The sensor is on the passenger side, midway along the tranny. Then the wires go back inside the car, out the back, to the bulbs, then to ground. This is from the GM manual for my 96, 97 should be the same more or less.

You can start tracing these wires (which will be a pain in the ***) or replace the backup light switch (which will probably cost you a bit). Good luck!

Its in the Owner's Manual. If you don't have one, Shoebox has a link to online copies:
