Thanks to All for the Help!
So far, thanks for all the help everyone gave on my pre-purchase of a 89 Pontiac Firebird. I have gone ahead and purchased it and its now waiting patiently in my friends driveway for me to get paid again to put insurance on it. Hahah. Cheapest i can seem to find is $14.
If anyone who was interested wanted to see photos and follow as i slowly restore it a little, i split my website in two, one for the car, the rest for my art... http://thejackbull.com.
Forgive me, for i am a noob, so if im going in the wrong direction in fixing the pontiac, let me know please! Thanks again to all!
Im a proud owner of my new toy!

Re: Thanks to All for the Help!
not bad. but are you sure it is the 350 WS6 package??
as for the sway bar bushing. those take about 20 mins to replace, just a few comon wrenches.
it would be a waste to pay someone $50 to do the labor!!!
keep us posted.

Re: Thanks to All for the Help!
Yes, the seller told me it was a WS6 and had a thicker bar.. so when i called pep boys, they said that mean itd have a inch and a quarter thick bar. I have NO tools whatsoever, otherwise i would be brave and do it myself. Might as well pay them to do it so i dont mess anything up.
Re: Thanks to All for the Help!
It still doesn't hurt to have a small toolset lying around. Even if you dont want to tackle the sway bar yourself, it never hurts to have some sockets and screwdrivers lying around to do petty stuff like tightening hose clamps or swapping speakers.
Re: Thanks to All for the Help!
My father has plenty of those in his garage so usually when i do need stuff like that for odd jobs, i just head over there. I may not have them, but i have free access to it.
