Testing ignition wires?

best way to check them? I have soem MSD 8.5s that have some mies on them (40k)

I have ~ 1 foot of heat sheathing and factory boot connectors. They should be good, but I just want to check them for good measure.

I assume with a Multimeter, what am I checking ohms? Any "numbers" to set and look for?

PS not uncommon for 3.8s to cook up ignition wires.

Check ohms. Compare all the wires. Resistance readings vary widely between manufacturers.
