Ammonia is common in the kinds of cleaners you use on the windows like Windex. Its OK to use it on the outside of the window, but you don't want to use it on the inside if you have tint. It will turn the tint purple. You should be able to find a bottle of Windex that specifically says "ammonia free".
Is that what you were concerned about?
I don't think they use it in the typical solvent/anti-freeze that you put in your windshield washers.... that is usually a form of alcohol.

Crap, forgot to put in the put about using it in an injection kit heh. I head/read that ammonia and engines don't mix
. Gave it a taste today, I think its hooked on meth now hehe.
