Angry Temp Gauge Not Working Help

I need help guys, I have 1993 camaro 5.7 I just got this car and found out the guy I bout it from changed the cluster in it. I am not for shure what year the guy got the cluster from. I know this cluster effects my rpm, speed. Will it effect my temp too, the gauge does not even raise up a little? Very worried about over heating

Re: Temp Gauge Not Working Help

Check the coolant temp sending unit in the driver's side head. If the sensor is shorted or the wire is shorted to ground, the gauge will sit at the bottom. If the sensor is open or the wiring is open, the gauge will sit at the top.
