T-Tops question

I hope this is in the right section first of all. After doing a search I haven't found the answer I needed so here goes. Are the t-tops for my 3rg gen firebird made for my car only or can they be used on other 3rd gen f-body's?

I found a topic that stated i think that the 4th gen t-tops were interchangeable but I just wanted to be sure about mine. If anybody can help me with my question i would appreciate it. thanks

I dont know about 3rd gens but 4th gens are stamped for t tops from the factory. All 4th ges are like that except for the verts obvously. Third gens were not all stamped for ttops.

I've previously read about people who found a set of Ttops made for a Camaro and used them on a Firebird, I'm pretty sure it was for a 3rd gen.

everything from 84-92 will interchange....but the 82s and 83s i believe used a different "hook type" mounting system. the only other difference is the later (somewhere around 89 or 90) they switched to lexan plastic t-tops instead of the glass type they used on the older ones....

i put the glass tops from my old 84sc onto my old 92rs and it worked fine
