injuneer thanks very much that was exactly what i needed that's the perfect how to and info on how to do this conversion, it looks really easy. Do you know what the difficulty factor is on it? i have a guy who has done metal work all his life that's proabably gonna do it

 

Not my site, and I never did it - just a link I saved. I did have another link to an excellent set of instructions, from someone I knew a bit better through the internet, but his site seems to have disappeared. I'd guess that someone with good metal working skills would find this fairly easy.
