Is !sway worth it?

Last night raced a guy on my floor, cocky freshman w/ an E36 m3. I am near stock but I pulled 1-2 cars on him from 40-90mph. I was wondering if I will NOTICE an improvement from deleting teh front sway and washer fluid. I also have some BMR boxes LCAs I could install... but I am planning on selling them.

just on the launch... i dont think its worth it unless your dragging at the strip... even then - just disconnect it and re-connect later on.

I have a single bullet... just no cat. I like it... we don't really have any noise issues with cops around here.

Re: Is !sway worth it?

Yeah I had saved money for LTs and a full cam/valvetrain rebuild... but a bad body guy jacked up my entire car's paint and I spent the summer (and all my mod money) getting my car back to being aesthetically acceptable

So at least until next summer, can't really dump any money into my car.

You'll shed some weight, but I doubt you'll notice a huge difference on the street on street tires.

it means he plugged the "donkey dong"...i mean air silencer.. on the underside of the intake elbow.

if you want to beat him better, i would suggest removing weight in other ways.

Re: Is !sway worth it?

I chucked the front sway bar 2 years ago.
I will never put it back on.
I have my car setup for drag racing and thats where my passion lies, so I don't care about handling.
I don't miss the sway bar on the street though if that means anything.
