NEED HELP hood re-alignment
NEED HELP hood re-alignment
i have both fenders, both headlight panels, and the front bumper all aligned correctly and in place, but now the hood (stock 96 formula non ram-air hood) is not aligned right...its fine near the fenders up towards the windshield, but is hugging the passenger side headlight panel very tightly side to side to the point where it almost rubs, and leaves too much of a gap near the driver's headlight panel, and also needs to come forward a little towards the headlight on the drivers side, but not much...i need help ASAP with how to go about adjusting the hood..i dont know which bolts to loosen/remove, and how to move the hood...PLEASE HELP...i need to get this to the body shop in the next few days...
Re: NEED HELP hood re-alignment
Theres a few ways to adjust the hood, but last time I did it, I loosed the bolts acually connecting the hoot and shifted it around a little till it was right, then I adjusted the brackets that allow the hood to move up and down. by moving them forward and back till it fell in place.
Re: NEED HELP hood re-alignment
do u hafta loosen the bolts on drivers and passenger side to move the hood..bc tonight i just loosened the drivers side bc thats the only side that needs adjusting and the hood wouldnt even budge...so i just got pissed and went out drinkin lol
