Supercharger or LT4

Considering buying Eldelbrock LT4 intake, Heads, cam etc. or should I just go with a Vortech supercharger at 6-7 psi. Emissions is important as my state is tough.

On an LTx engine I would recommend the LT4 Kit or simply a cam and head work and LT4 intake manifold. The Rings on the LT1's are not all that great with boost.

What are your power goals? You are comparing a mild heads/cam setup to a forced induction setup with a moderate amount of boost that has the potential to do alot more.

I'm looking for the most power with reliability and passing emissions and of course best bang for the buck. My rings should be good as the car just turned 60,000 miles. I don't dog the car that often. i want to be able to beat stock LS1's. I could always sell the car and buy and LS1 but I'm not a big fan of the grille. Plus I own my car free and clear and just recently got it looking the way I wanted it.

Spend your money here.....

The Edelbrock stuff is of very limited value, limited gains for the price. Definitely would not come anywhere near the gains you would get with the Vortech S/C. The LT4 conversion is not cost effective either compared to what's shown in the link above.

Id never buy edelbrock parts lol, but +1 for eportworks, everyone seems to love what he does.

Also, Lloyd does offer setups that are emissions compliant.
