Easy to install, 15 min. I had one on the cavalier, getting one for the Z soon. I never noticed a HUGE change, but it tightened up the front end a little. Good for road courses. It'd just be another suspension part you'd end up buying anyway.

Re: Strut tower brace ?'s........

you probably won't feel it

but it will solidify the front end in the corners

i'd say for the $100 or so they are worth it. all you really need is the 2pt brace. there isn't enough strength in the cowl to make the 3pt that much better.

only cons are possible broken window. i installed my 2pt on uneven ground and 2 miles down the road it cracked the window. mainly cause the frame was tweaked due to the uneven ground...and the brace locked it into that position. install it on even ground and you'll be fine.
i've heard of more incidences of broken windows with the 3pt since it attaches to the cowl under the window. but that is even rare.

pros:
tighter front end, great look, good handle for working in the engie bay

Any suggestions on a good brand? I was just checking out the SLP but was curious to see if anyone would suggest something nice and hopefully economical

Just check the For Sale Forum for one, I've seen many used name brand ones there for about $50-$75. Got mine for $50 a while back.

Re: Strut tower brace ?'s........

i felt a huge difference in the corners. car felt very solid. Then again I did mine at the same time as my subframe connectors, so i could have a skewed view.
