Stock HP?

How much hp should my 95z28 be pushing with "3 Flowmaster, 2800 Rpm Yank converter, and K&N fipk. Everything else under the hood is stock. Just wondered.

With an auto with a bigger stall, I'd say 260 at the wheels if you're lucky and running perfectly.

another vote for 260, how would he be pushing close to 300? you have to remeber that the hp gm says is not the same as at the wheels.

well lets see..

1995 A4 Z28 (a claimed 275HP unless you have a california model which was the same as the 285HP 96-97 year models.) - 235-240rwhp

3" flowmaster - +10 rwhp (depending on the kit. I had a borla Y-pipe and the Force II kit which was a 3" pipe all the way back.. Single tip)

2800 TC - No HP gain. .Just more use out of it via the tranny...

K&N FIPK - +10rwhp

ok.. so my guesstimate total will be:
250-260rwhp.. everyone seems to pretty much in line on this one..

i say maybe 250rwhp, the 2800 stall actual decreases horsepower due to increase drivetrain loss.

i know a guy with a 94z28 A4, CAI, "flowmaster exhaust", and 3.73 gears....he dynoed 244rwhp.....
