state patrol issued camaro

I bought a 98 camaro that was owned by the NE state patrol. I wanted to know if this car was fitted with an interceptor package, or any other upgrades. The car's got an ls1 engine no power seats or windows 6-speed transmission the car has just over 100,000 miles

No such animal in a Z28 as an interceptor package thats in F*^D LTD. Just look at the codes on your drivers door. If you see B4C you have a plain bare bones nothing special issue Camaro used by most State Police and anyone who wanted a stripped Camaro say to use a a rolling chassis for a drag or race car..

Basically, it's a Z28 without badges if it has RPO B4C.

No there are some M6's out there. I got pulled over in Texas, at first I thought it was another camaro with a ski rack hauling *** and gaining on me...It was a DPS trooper. he brought me back to the car to issue me a warning since I'm also work in a law enforcement capacity.

I could not find any numbers matching BC4 at the door, the only thing that came close was BC/CC and the model #'s 1FP87 FAS

Re: state patrol issued camaro

I've seen Z28 cars in police duty..

I was walking in the city, when they had this parade.. I notice this cop was casually leaning up against a black tinted LS1 Z28 while watching the parade.. At first I was thinking "man, that better be his car".. while I walked by, I glanced in the interior, and noticed I could barely make out police equipment and the computer inside it.. Mus tbe a nice ride to take out unsuspecting street racers.. Looks like your avg blacked out and tinted Camaro on the outside.
