Standard SS options.

1999 SS Convertible 6-spd

I have the WU8 code, but do not have the Y2Y code.

It has the hood, spoiler, silver ss wheels, and exterior badges. I have dual exhaust (single tips), but it looks to me to be a factory type exhaust, with added on tips.

Were there any other "standard" SS options without adding the Y2Y code?

Thanks, Im new, but Im trying!

WU8 was the ss package that came with many standard options. Do you know what they all are. If not I can post them for for.

Thats exactly what I was asking, what were the standard "options" under the WU8 build code for the 1999 model year.

I'm the original owner of my car and here are the options off the original bill of sale for the WU8 package.

WU8 SS PERFORMANCE AND APPEARANCE PKG

325 horse power engine
composite hood with are scoop
forced air induction system
ss rear decklid spoiler
P275/40ZR17 goodyear eagle f1 tires
17" aluminum wheels
high performance ride and handling pkg
power steering cooler
low restriction dual outlet exhaust
torsen differential
ss badging
with MXO trans req. GU5 performance axle

If the car was auto it had a 3:23 and if the car was manual I think it was a 3:42 but I could be wrong on the manual gears. Someone may object to what I have here but this is what's on my order sheet for my 2001 camaro ss. I cannot comment on any other year of SS.

I know you were asking about a 1999 but there is not going to be alot of changes. One thing I know for sure is that the engines were only rated at 320 hp for the ss.
