squeeks and rattles

Anyone have tones of squeeks and rattles, i have one from the ebrake, driver and passenger windows, and somewhere in the rear of the car. I thought i fixed the one in the rear just to hear it again the next day. Anyone had these problems and how did you fix them if you even can.

Re: squeeks and rattles

Subframe connectors go a long way in reducing the squeeks/rattles.
The rear squeek is usually the rear hatch, and it is adjustable.

Thomas.

(FYI: This would get more responses if you posted it in a different forum -- not really LT1 Engine Tech related)

Re: squeeks and rattles

I get it from my dash, ttops, hatch and spare tire (cant figure that one out...its tightened up so damn much...). I also get random sounds from other places, like a nice loud whine from my steering sometimes.

[QUOTE=Stoopalini]Subframe connectors go a long way in reducing the squeeks/rattles.

I second the subframe connectors. My car has 226K miles on the body and the subframe connectors helped a bunch.
