Squeaky hatch driving me crazy!

what is it?

i have to slam my hatch shut, or else the lock wont engage. And sometimes when i go over bumps i can hear the hatch knocking.

Could be some internal parts are sticking. Try spraying some silicon grease or WD40 in there and see if it goes away.

Adjust the latch down for a tighter fit.

Mine does the same thing, closing the hatch 2-3x's to get it to lock is not very fun.
