squeaking and creaking

I'm pretty sure my bushings are the source of these squeaking and creaking noises that i have been hearing a lot lately. what do you guys use to lube them up to quiet them down?

Might want to mention the year of the car, and the location of the bushings... e.g. front, rear suspension, or both? How many miles on the car?

If it makes you fell any better, my 96 has 127,000 miles on it, and it creaks all the time earlier in the morning..but dont' hear much after driving it a bit. Between the creaks and loose jack rattling in the rear...it's just my car "waking" up in the morning. I think it's mostly my stock (yeah, stock) springs.

Does your creaking go away after a while? Does it creak more on turns, accelerating, braking, over bumps? Need a little more description.

not to jump your thread but mine squeaks pretty bad on the front pass. side. I replaced the strut and it still does it. I think a arm bushings but someone told me also to look at the sway bar bushing too.

well it seems to do it more while moving very slow (parking the car for instance), and now that you mention it i think it does go away a little bit after driving. it does it while going over bumps and no where else. i almost want to say that it is coming from the rear control arm bushings and maybe the front control arms, but honestly, i'm not quite sure.
