Im purchasing a set of springs, locks, retainers, and valve guides. The person selling them isnt quite sure what springs they are but is swearing they are 918's he checked his invoice and now says he thinks there ex 614's? Isnt that the locks p.n.?

Is there anyway a machine shop could tell me what spring it was?

 

save your money and buy new....cheap insurance to make sure you don't trash your valvetrain.

 

May as well go new. Is there a reason you are changing springs?
