speedometer problem

ABOUT A MONTH AGO I TOOK MY 97 CAMARO IN TOO GET MY MOTOR SWAPPED OUT CAUSE IT HAD A LOWER ROD BEARING SHOT SO I CHANGE THE MOTOR OUT WHEN I GOT THE CAR BACK MY SPEEDOMETER DIDNT WORK AND MY ABS INOP LIGHT CAme ON DOES ANY1 HAVE ANY IDEA HOW TO FIX THE PROBLEM I TRIED LOOKIN FOR THE SPEEDOMETER CABLE UNDERNEATH THE CAR BUT THE ONLY CABLE I SAW WAS THE ONE TO THE CLUTCH AND THERE IS LIKE 2 SENSORS CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP THANKS

THERE IS NO SPEEDOMETER CABLE THE SPEEDOMETER GETS ITS SIGNAL FROM THE VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR THAT IS LOCATED IN THE TAILSHAFT OF THE TRANSMISSION IT IS AN ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR THERE IS A PICTURE OF IT IN THE 8TH POST OF THIS THREAD

Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) may not be connected. There is no "cable". I'd post a pic of the sensors with labels, but you didn't mention whether you have an A4, M5 or M6. If its an M6:

thanks for the help i look at it yesterday and the 2 wires coming from that sensor was cut it was perfectly cut no place to cut or get smashed i think it was the place i took it 2 dont ever go to san antonio auto n truck they suck
