Speedometer Calibration

I have a question. I have a 1995 Z28. I am wanting to put 3.73 gears this winter from the stock 3.23's. What will I have to do to recalibrate the speedometer? Thanks in advance.

Re: Speedometer Calibration

Correct gear ratio must be programmed in the PCM. Pick up a cheap, used Hypertech programmer to do this, get LT1_Edit and do it yourself, or have a mail order tuner make the change.

What is this LT1_Edit you referred to?

Software that allows you to tune your PCM with a laptop:

I need to look into that. I already tune my bike with my laptop, why not my Camaro?
