Speedo and Tach messing up bad

Ok, when it's really cold outside my speedo and tach and messing up. The Tach messes only when I first start the car and it's real cold. It jumps all over the place erratically (sp?) and it doesn't stop until it warms up. The engine runs fine I can hear it shift and all that. The speedo isn't as bad for going completely crazy. It just jumps up 20 or so miles per hour when I turn right. Then it slowly drifts back down when I go straight or turn left. This only happens when it's cold (about 40 degrees or below). Any ideas on what it could be?

poltergist

sorry, temp related electrical stuff is usually hard to diagnose in person, let alone over the net

you need to put a scanner on it, and see what the PCM is seeing when it happens

could be PCM, wiring or cluster
