Well I was having some problems with my car (95 3.4L M5) I had an alterner die, causing a low voltage throu the computer, basically it was doing wierd things from there, running really rich fuel, causing plugs to plug up after only 30 miles !

So I got a new computer from anouther 95 3.4L changed out the M5 chip, and now the speedo doesn't work. Also the trip meter turns so slow, basically in 10 miles it just hit the 2 tenths of a mile!

The odometer doesn't move at all! Sounds like the pulses that send about the distance arn't working?!?1

Any ideas?

I placed the old computer in, and drive it a few miles the speedo works again, is there anyway to fix the speedo in the new computer?

 

Get a GPS, that will tell you your speed
