Spare tire wont fit on front! help!

Hey guys, this is messed up. My spare tire only fits on the rear. If I try and put it on the front, its like the lug nuts are forcing it over the brake assembly and the car wont move! As for as I know the camaro came with this spare.

If you do that, make sure you don't go over 50 mph. Anything over that and you risk damage to the rear end (this should be printed on the spare, but just a heads up).

Ya I wouldent drive over that speed. I see a lot of idiots on the highway flying with a spare, seen some just after they blew too haha.

The spare wouldent fit on the rear either!! I wonder if it is the right spare, it says 15 on there somewhere but I run 16's.

Does anyone have a pic of there spare to see if mine is the right one?

I got a new tire today so its all good. I had to walk to work, only half hour of walking away haha. My boss said I should shim the tire out a 1/4 or so inches with an aluminum plate. (im a steel fabricator) Might make one if I dont get this spare figured out.

Its probably the wrong lug pattern. You need 5X4.75. Don't make one, they are dirt cheap at a junk yard.

It has the right pattern. I can put the tire onto the lugs but when I tighten down I can hear it squeezing over the brake assembly. I decided for kicks to move the car a couple of inches and it squeeled real bad. Like the rim isnt fitting over the brake calipers

Oh, I see. Not sure what that would be, I run a full-size spare.

A full size spare will fit in the trunk, but not in the spot where the temp spare fits... A full size spare will basically eat up all your trunk space.

haha, yeah, not trunk at all, you even have to remove the little trunk flap. But I never use my trunk anyway. And Im usually driving far, if I get a flat I'd rather just throw on a tire and drive normally as if nothing had happened.
