Well a couple years ago I got Jet hot lt's COATED well they look fine under the hood. I mean maybe a tad duller nothing bad but man o man underneath is a different story. Everytime I change my oil I get pissed. I just look and see it peeling off from the botom by the collectors and it has rust on them b/c of it. Damn I just need to vent the damn things cost quite a bit, but I guess a rock here and there will chip them enough for them to peel. Well just had to get that off my chest later

 

I got the same problem with my Hooker LTs that are coated. Although when I had my T/A I had Jet Hots. I put em on in August and they were still looking great when i sold the car in February.

 

geez its not only you, it took mine about three months for mine to completely lose their coating on the collector, then a few months later the rust went half way up the headers. Sure am glad I spent 200 bucks more for the coating. I'll tell you--never again will I get some coating. What for so they can rust! Maybe the black header coating that por 15 has will work better, and its cheaper.

 

Ive had my mac midlengths jet hot coated for over 2 years now, and they are still perfectly fine. It doesnt see snow, so that will help out a lot, but no stones have caused any problems here.

That sucks guys, maybe you can get some sort of compensation, cuz i know they do guarantee their work for a certain amount of time...
