slow turn signals

slow turn signals

i have a 1999 camaro SS w/45k miles

my turn signals are very slow. they are both equally as slow.

voltage seems fine (around 13v)

what might cause this?

Check the flasher?????

well i kinda got the same problem, ONE of mine is slow, not the other, wtf is up with that?

(i already changed the flasher)

It's possible you may have the wrong bulb in there. There are usually regular and heavy duty bulbs. Using a regular bulb in a heavy duty application results in a quick flash. Heavy duty bulb in the regular application results in a slow flash. This may or may not be it, but thought it might help.

Since it is summer time here I use the A/C all the time, so at night with headlights on, radio on, A/C on, the turn signals are slow due to all the electrical current needed at a stop sign.
